April 2020: Passed my Information Governance Training for Children's Hearings Scotland

December 2019: Qualified in Emergency First Aid at work

November 2019: Completed training & Certified as a Mental Health First Aider, NHS Scotland

April 2019:  After being observed chairing a panel, I passed my 'Chairing and Managing a Tribunal' PDA. I am now fully qualified to chair Children's Hearings

 

November 2018: Successfully completed my 'Chairing and Managing a Tribunal' training

 

July 2018: Commissioned to write a 'forensic & crime scene' workshop for British Science Week 2019

 

June 2018: Started freelancing with Science Boffins, teaching basic science to children across Scotland

2018: Trained and registered to carry and administer Naloxone

August 2017: Contracted to APEX Scotland to work with offenders and ex-offenders

 

May/June 2017: Qualified as a Children's Panel member

 

November 2016: Started training to become a member of the Children's Panel

 

July 2016: Graduated with BSc (Hons) in Forensic Psychobiology, University of Abertay, Dundee

October 2015: Accepted as a STEM Ambassador into the STEM Network

 

October 2015: Set up Aye Spy: CSI to run crime scene workshops for kids

 

September 2015:  Published in PsychTalk, the magazine for student members of the BPS

 

September 2015:  Elected as Class Rep (4th year)

 

May 2015:  Awarded the Principal's Award for Employability

 

September 2015:  Started working towards the Principal's Award for Employability

 

June 2014:  Elected as Scottish Representative on the Student Committee of the BPS. In post until July 2016

 

April 2014: Started volunteering for a national pet fostering charity, fostering cats and dogs for owners who find themselves in emergency medical, financial or domestic abuse situations

 

March 2014:  Participant in a workshop to enhance teaching and learning facilities at Abertay University

 

January 2014:  Started volunteering as a mentor for PlusOne, a charity who work to divert at-risk young people away from the criminal justice system

 

September 2013:  Elected as Class Rep (2nd year)

 

February 2013:  Started volunteering for Advocating Together, a charity who advocate for adults with learning disabilities

 

October 2012: Elected as Class Rep (1st year)

 

September 2012:  Enrolled on BSc (Hons) Forensic Psychobiology Degree Course at Abertay University, Dundee

 

October 2011:  Gained a CertHE in Forensic Science and Medicine from Edinburgh University
